Design of the bench will be selected in the contest art and architecture. On each of the Benches of independence will be commemorative inscription. Part of the multimedia should be listening to the portion of the Polish Army Representative Songs-March of the Brigade and the portion of the Cryptogram of Józef Piłsudski of his choice the emergence of an independent State with the Polish November 16, 1918.
The bench of independence is a modern way to commemorate the history and tradition of Polish independence. Is a project commemorating the Polish State, but also with educational and practical. Sitting on the bench, everyone will be able to get acquainted with the most important events that led to the recovery of our independence. The bench will also promote the story of Polish regions.
Architectural design competition is addressed to individuals not involved in business. The author of the best project will receive the main prize – 30 thousand. zł. There are also two awards – after £ 8500.
In the composition of the jury will take a person qualified to assess the reported entry, m.in. representatives of the MON and the IPN and independent experts-historians and architects. Contest entries can be submitted to the May 22, 2018.
