An information meeting for ukrainian citizens is behind us

Information meeting for citizens of Ukraine was held today (22 March) at the Ełk Cultural Centre. M.in issues were raised security, health care, assigning PESEL numbers, entitled to financial benefits. The questions were answered by representatives of individual municipal and district institutions, the town hall and the president of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz.

At the meeting, the most important issues were discussed in detail important from the point of view of Ukrainian citizens who came to Elk. Raised issues related to, m.in, legalization of stay on the territory of the Polish, validity Ukrainian driving license, vehicle registration, assigning PESEL numbers, seeking employment, medical care. They also talked about where you can look for help, accommodation, where to apply for benefits social and financial (m.in child benefit, 500 plus, benefit parental, one-time payment of PLN 300). Participants were also interested in education of children, accessibility of primary and secondary schools and universities Higher.
