Firefighter's Day we celebrate in Poland on May 4. On this day, the Catholic Church commemorates St. Florian – the patron saint of firefighters, m.in. On this occasion, on May 15, at the State District Headquarters Fire Brigade in Ełk held a solemn celebration of the Firefighter's Day.

The event gathered numerous guests – representatives of local authorities, services, institutions cooperating with the Fire Service and close officers. The ceremony was an opportunity not only to thank for service and sacrifice, but also to present promotions and decorations of the most to the deserving firefighters.
