Derived measures derived from the regional operational programme of Warmia and Mazury for years 2014-2020.

This is another project, which aims to revitalization (renewal) historic Ełckiej Onal, a tourist attraction of the region.

The work will be consisted of m.in.:

Creating The Park Explorers. This will be the place that would become the heart of the activation of social and educational city residents and a new tourist attraction.

The Park will be installed the following devices that will easily show the rules of physics, which are used in the operation of narrow-gauge railway. This will be the m.in.:

·         carousel with pneumatic piston timing, górka, magnetic balls,

·         pulleys, elektromotywa, steam engine, race drezyn,

·         swing hinge with spring on the bearing, magnetic alloy.

Additional work:

·         arrangement and management of 1 ha of the north-eastern part of the area under the Discovery Park, in turn, educational EKW

·         execution of the pedestrian and car parks,

·         reconstruction of the roads inside the area rewitalizowanego,

·         rebuilding the East fence of the plot

·         implementation of green spaces with new ornamental planting of Green Park,

·         install lighting and garbage bins and benches.

The total value of the project is 4 191 491, $97, including:

·         3.4 million (78%) level of funding the whole investment,

·         791,491.97 – (22%) own contribution.

Expected date of completion of the investment to the end of September 2018.

City of Elk has acquired a 3.4 million in funding for the implementation of the project "revitalization and land use Ełckiej Onal for the historical Museum in Elk-stage II-Discovery Park". Yesterday (June 27) the President of the Management Board met Andrukiewicz Thomas Elk Warmińsko-Mazurskie and signed an agreement.
