Take part in a free training course within the framework of the project CLIMCITIES

Institute of environmental protection-National Research Institute, in cooperation the provincial Fund for environmental protection and water management in Olsztyn, organize free training in the framework of the project CLIMCITIES. The first meeting devoted to adapting to climate change in small and medium-sized Polish cities, will be held at the Elk on 25-26 July. Registration on-line.

Institute of environmental protection-National Research Institute carries out project CLIMCITIES. Therefore, those interested in the subject, they have the opportunity to participate in free training, which in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, will be held at the Elk. The first meeting has been scheduled within the period July 25-26.

Training related to a project CLIMCITIES "CLIMate change adaptation in small and medium size CITIES". This project is devoted to adaptation to climate change in small and medium-sized cities Polish. It is funded under the Fund of the bilateral cooperation of the European economic area financial mechanism for the period 2009-2014 (85%) and from the State budget (15%).

In the cities the adverse effects of climate change are felt especially acutely. Adaptation to climate change at the local level depends on the effectiveness of local institutions, particularly local government administration. Therefore, these training courses are intended to adapt cities to changing climatic conditions.

Training in the Elk will be held on 25-26 July 2017.
