At the end of June was transferred to the construction contractor of the investment and upgrading works started in Ełckiej Onal.

In the framework of the plan to m.in:

·         the reconstruction and adaptation of the building stacyjnego. 317 m2

·         the construction of properties (disabled access ramp, ramp on the tracks,

·         the entrance gate)

·         construction and reconstruction of networks (water, gas, sewage system, electricity and telecommunication), together with,

·         implementation of elements of small architecture (park benches, trash cans)

·         execution of the outdoor lighting,

·         gear ratio and new roads paved,

·         land-use greenery, high and low along with the care,

·         execution of the pedestrian.

Expected date of completion is end of October 2017.

The contractor is the company PHU MASTER Luke Staniszewski in Elk.
The total cost of the investment is $3,101,110.96.

The whole investment task consists of 3 stages:

·         Stage I – reconstruction of the building of the stacyjnego along with the land (green square and the station square)

·         Stage II-land use (Discovery Park, in turn, the way internal, garage area)

·         Stage III – construction of a new Museum along with land (the new headquarters and Museum square).

Total project value: $5,265,786.98

·         EU funding: $4,412,729.49 (83.80%)

·         own contribution: $853,057.49 (16.2%)

Project is being implemented under the regional operational programme of Warmia and Mazury 2014-2020.
