Does the project "development of tourism based on natural heritage and cultural cross-border towns of Elk and Kaunas". The main activity in the project after the Elk is a land bank of Ełckie Lake and a new beach. "the promontory" in a Lake, while on the side of the Kaunas construction. The project funded by the Interreg cooperation programme V-and Lithuania-Poland 2014-2020.

Scope of works includes m.in.:

·         demolition, land leveling

·         and deforestation (UNDERWAY)

·         new plantings of trees and shrubs and lawn carpets

·         execution of the sandy beach and grassy Beach

·         two deszczochronów, along with benches for seating in the form of a roofed wooden design Park sheds,

·         execution of 3 football fields to beach volleyball on the sandy surface

·         the execution of 2 football pitches, basketball (streetball) on the surface of the concrete block

·         the construction of a bridge on the Lake together with observation tower and lighting on concrete piles of wooden structures,

·         execution of the foot-travel with concrete block

·         execution of a pedestrian with a kitchenette and 4 x 4 concrete block surfaces on stairs

·         execution of the places to catch fish with concrete block

·         the execution of parking and directions to the parking lots with concrete block

·         horizontal and vertical marking places for people with disabilities

·         performance bicycle parking lots with concrete block

·         mounting racks for bikes,

·         the execution of spraying platforms

·         implementation of elements of small architecture (column showers, park benches, litter bins, drinking spouts)

·         implementation of area lighting

·         the execution of connections: water, energy, telecommunication and sanitary sewer and stormwater

·         recreating destroyed green areas after carried out construction works

The task of "building a City Beach in Elk-and stage" carries out a consortium of companies: Building Cooperative SKALMANTAS in Elk and Enterprise Gospodarki Komunalnej SP. z o.o. in gołdap. The total value of the investment is 3,416,843.30 €

Expected date of completion is end of may 2018.
