Meeting with the art "Painting emotions-suffering"

Ełckie Cultural Center invites you to a meeting with the art in the context of the next edition of the lecture series "painter's emotions". Lecture under the theme of "suffering" will take place on November 23, at 8:00 pm. 9:00 for the Group organized and at 8:00 pm. 18:00 for individuals, in the Concert Hall of art school in Elk. The meeting will be hosted by Edyta Mańczuk, graduated from the Faculty of fine arts, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Admission is free.

On Thursday November 23, 2017. the next meeting will be held in the framework of the "painter's emotions". The theme of the lecture will be "suffering" shown on the example of such works as: "Black fire '' Barneta Bewmana or" Roztrzelanie '' by Andrzej Wróblewski.

Lectures will be held at the school of Art in Elk, ul. Army 21,:

·         9:00-for a group of organized

·         18:00-for individuals

Analysis of works from different periods will help answer the question, how to paint a suffering, to feel it also viewers (for example image Barnet Bewmana "Black fire '' and" Roztrzelanie '' by Andrzej Wróblewski).

Contact with the work of art is based on emotions. Landscapes, portraits and genre scenes exude calm, sadness, anxiety, grief and joy. Whether these feelings are always correctly interpreted by the Viewer. Or for superficial joy can be anxiety?

Within the framework of the "painter's emotions" will be held the following meetings:

·       "How do I show the birth of God" – December 7, 2017.

Christmas is one of the most emerging themes of Christian art.  Welcome to the gawędę about different themes in painting (examples of images from different periods showing Christmas).

·       "Anxiety"-January 11, 2018.

How to paint a anxiety? Museum galleries are expressing anxiety. Read these emotions brings a contemporary audience their stories (based on images of Francisco Goya and "Scream '' Edvard Munch).

·       "Peace of mind"-February 22, 2018.

The vastness of the mountain landscape or still life-as most artists have presented. We see it in the works of French painters and romantic landscape paintings (based on image "Wanderer above the sea '' David Friedrich and still lifes of Jean Chardina)." ·       "Easter" – 29 March 2018.
