Traditionally On December 19, the Municipal Fee Meeting took place in the Ełcki Cultural Centre, which was an opportunity to share the fee and to see the presented this time by pupils of the School of Basic No. 9 im. Pope John Paul II.

It is already a tradition that every year before Christmas, representatives of the Ełk meet at a fee meeting organised at the initiative of the President of Ełk and Bishop Ełcki. The meeting is an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of the holidays, as well as to wish you. Before starting the invited guests could feel the atmosphere of the upcoming holidays thanks to the Carols and other Christmas songs prepared for the occasion by the Children's Schola "Angels fr. "Great place to stay"

During the first part of the meeting invited guests could watch in the auditorium Ełckiego Cultural Centre Christmas show entitled "Twelve Wishes" prepared by pupils from Primary School No. 9 in Ełk im. Pope John Paul II. At the end of the show, the guests went to the "Zebra" room. There about The Masurian Song and Dance Ensemble "Ełk" took care of the festive stagnation.

Ełccy Scouts handed over the Bethlehem light of His Excellency to Fr. Bishop George Masuria. The Rector of the Higher Seminary in Ełk read the Gospel. Ks. The Bishop and President of Ełk addressed the wishes to the gathered guests. Then all they broke the fee and made their wishes.
