Municipal government  as part of cooperation with non-governmental organizations, m.in commissions them to implement its statutory tasks. Today (5 January) in the Ełk City Hall the contracts were signed the following organisations:

Supporting social activity of the elderly:

1. Polish Association of Pensioners, Pensioners and Inwalidów, District Board in Ełk
Task: Worldwide Invalid's Day

2. Association "Silver Generation" in Ełk
    Task: Seniors in action 2022

Promoting animal rights and active care for their welfare in Ełk:

3. Embassy of Friars Minor Association
    Task: Protecting, caring for and preventing homeless cats

Supporting the development of sport children and adolescents:

4. People's Student Sports Club Ełk
Task: Cycling school at the People's Student Cycling Club in Ełk

Connecting the amount of co-financing is PLN 28,000.
