In historic tenement houses whether buildings can we notice the characteristic elements of the construction of past epochs, create a unique atmosphere of places and affect the formation of our Identity. They are our heritage, so it is important to protect them.

Until Friday (18 February) it is possible to submit applications under the competition for subsidies for conservation, restoration or construction works on a monument entered in the register of monuments or in the municipal register monuments, located in the City of Ełk.

Grant for works conservation, restoration and construction works may include expenditures necessary m.in:

• preparation of expert opinions, conducting research conservation or architectural;
• preparation of conservation documentation or development of a programme of conservation and restoration works;
• renewal or supplementation of plasters and cladding Architectural
• renovation of windows, door frames, roof truss, covering roof, gutters and drain pipes;
• modernization of electrical installations in monuments wooden;
• making moisture insulation;

The competition has a closed form. The amount to be distributed in the competition is PLN 200,000.

Competition applications should be submit by 18 February to the General Chancellery of the Ełk City Hall (room no. 2).
