In connection with the start of the General Directorate of Roads National and Highway works on Grajewska Street, there were significant difficulties in Traffic. Transfer from the city center to the Jeziorna housing estate (section approx. 3.5 km) took about 1.5 hours yesterday (7 March). Therefore, the President Ełku Tomasz Andrukiewicz turned to the Contractor and GDDiK to lead work in such a way as to maintain capacity and liquefy traffic, and provide a corridor for the movement of medical services. The President also requested a temporary disabling the signalling at the intersection of Grajewska and Jana Pawła II streets and introduction of whistleblowers. He also proposed to stop work related to reconstruction of the road and their re-commissioning when the road is put into service national S61, if the implementation of the proposed solutions does not change the situation.
