Mr. and Mrs. Angelika and Michael Peiniger, originally from the German city of Ennepetal, who hosted on March 11 in Ełk City Hall and the mayor of Ennepetal, Imke Heymann, declared their willingness to help citizens of Ukraine who have found refuge in our city. Reference cooperation was possible thanks to Mr. Radosław Dorszewski - many years old a player of the Fussball Tus Ennepetal football team - currently the President of MKS Mazur Ełk.

Today (24 March) at 8.30 to Elk arrived Tir with gifts that were given by the inhabitants of Ennepetal. At the request of the President of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz, NATO soldiers from Romania and the United States and WOT soldiers helped unload all things you need. Among the gifts were m.in clothing and footwear, chemistry and cosmetics, products hygienic and baby food, as well as games, toys and books.
