Once again, the Ronald McDonald Foundation will conduct in Elk prophylactic ultrasound examination "NO to cancer in children".

The examination is safe, painless and free. It will be covered by children in age from 9 months to 6 years.

Entries will be accepted from 20 to 21 June from 16.00 to 18.00 - the order of applications is decisive. The number of places is limited.

Participation in the study without registration is not possible.

The purpose of ultrasound examinations is to accurately assess the condition of the organs internal and detection of possible deviations from the standard. The research is implemented according to medical standards specified for this age group by the Polish Ultrasound Society and performed by experienced doctors – radiologists.

Research will be performed on July 2-3 in the Foundation's mobile clinic, which will be was stationed in front of the Ełk City Hall.

The time needed for the examination is about 15-18 minutes. Each the child comes at the appointed time so that the visit is as much as possible Comfortable. Upon completion, parents receive the results of the tests and possible medical advice.

From research in an ambulance for 16 years of the program's operation more than 76,000 children have already benefited.
