Promenade above Ełk Lake is one of the most attractive places in Ełk willingly visited by residents, tourists and guests staying in our city. City councillors came up with a proposal to make it even more attractive promenade during the summer by making it available to local creators and Artists.

In response to the expectations of environments Ełk cultural creators, artists and craftsmen municipal self-government created opportunities to present talents, passions, crafts artistic in the areas by the promenade.

Allows it will be an additional space for meetings, e.g. musicians, painters, sculptors and artists representing other art forms who will be able to present the effects of their activities to residents and tourists.

Every artist whether an association interested in such a possibility by submitting a simple application in the Ełk City Hall, may obtain permission to make it available free of charge promenade in the period until 30 September. The application shall indicate:

• data Applicant
• Proposal location and size of the space needed
• period / date on which the artistic presentation will be conducted
• description form and method of presentation of artistic talents.

Hitherto three locations are available:

• at ul. Pulaski (near WSFiZ),
• at ul. Pulaski (near the playground and basketball court)
• at ul. Nadjeziorna (on the south side of the playground)

There is also the ability to share other locations. Each application will be examined Individually. The priority will be not to interfere with normal functioning promenades, unlimited pedestrian or bicycle traffic and safety users of the promenade.

Remark! City Hall may not express consent or withdraw the consent given in the case of organizations on the subject areas of events / city events, or for other important reasons, e.g. breaking law, order, organizational or rule-based reasons Security.
