A targeted subsidy from the budget of the city of Ełk can be received sports clubs conducting sports activities in the city of Ełk, not acting for the purpose of making a profit, which participate in an organized sports competition in team and individual disciplines.

For the implementation of tasks (under this grant) in 2022. PLN 160,000 was allocated. Today in the city hall there was a grant ceremony awarded in the second call this year. After consulting the committee evaluating the applications, the President of Ełk approved the following tasks to Implementation:

1. Interschool Student MIKRO EŁK Sports Club

'Organisation and participation in international volleyball tournaments" – 7000 PLN

2. Student Club Sports RONA 03

'Football a way to live a healthy life at a time of growing threat of disease civilization" – 7000 PLN

3. Shamo Elk Judo Club

"The development of sumo in Ełk" – 7000 PLN

4. THOR Sports Club Fighting School

'Coverage of costs renting a room for training purposes" – 6000 PLN

5. Interschool Club Sports Żak Ełk

"Competition in judo" – 7000 PLN

6. Club Association Sports WOLVES Elk

"Basketball flair - season 2022" - 7000 PLN

In two of this year's calls, the president of Ełk awarded a total of 14 grants for a total amount of PLN 133,000.
