Community Residents of the Ełk County (Kreisgemeinschaft Lyck) and the Museum Historical in Ełk undertake joint activities for the benefit of preserving the diverse memory of the cities of Lyck and Elk.

February The history of the city was influenced by the breakthrough that took place in 1945. The consequence of population exchange was the fact that many valuable historical monuments are far from Elk, in another country. Retention, maintenance and sharing of these Testimonies of the time is part of the city's activities Elk and all the people associated with it.
