Free workshops for children and young people "code with giants - retriprograming" are launched.

The next edition of "Code with Giants" will take place in February 4-26. During the workshops, participants will learn the basics programming, and at the same time learn games from the youth of their parents. The event is under the honorary patronage of MEiN, GovTech Polska, ORE, NASK and over 100 city authorities, in of which classes will be held.

From 4 to 26 February Children and young people from all over the Polish will be able to play the role of programmers from years ago, who created the classics of computer and video games. An opportunity for this there will be an action "Code with Giants - Retriprogram", which is the next installment cyclical programming events for children and young people that is organized free of charge.

The workshops will take place in over 100 cities in all over Poland and online. Registration for The event is possible on the www.kodujzgigantami.pl website .

In classes, specially adapted to age groups, primary school students can take part and secondary schools aged 7 to 19 years.

About the "Code with Giants" campaign

"Code with Giants" has been organized for 7 years Nationwide campaign of free programming workshops for children and youth. The organizer of the event is a programming school for children and youth Programming giants. In February 2023, the action will take place for the 12th time.

Programming journey to the past

Environments and languages programming such as:  Minecraft Education Edition, Scratch, Visual Studio, Python, C# and C++ will take children and Young people on a journey to the past - to the world of computer games of their parents. By learning scripts and the basics of programming, they will learn how to give old games and New Life programs. Creating your own website? Design a computer game or a standalone program? Everything is possible during "Code with Giants" action.

For Workshop participants will therefore be an opportunity to take their first steps in programming, but also get to know the games that their parents admired and learn many interesting facts about the technologies in which they were created. Parents, on the other hand, will be able to go on a sentimental journey and recall you will have titles of your favorite games, as well as take part in an educational webinar with a child psychologist about children's addiction to games and computers.
