"The future of personal data protection in the light of developments technology" is the topic of a nationwide scientific conference organized in as part of the celebration of the XVII Personal Data Protection Day. Data Protection Authority Personal is organizing this event on January 31, 2023 in cooperation with President of Ełk and Ełk branch of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

This year's conference will be held in a hybrid formula. The organizers have planned stationary events in Ełk, at the headquarters of the branch University of Warmia and Mazury, which will also be broadcast on the Internet via the UODO website.

On the agenda of this year's Data Protection Day Personal consists of a scientific conference and accompanying events. Openly The conference on January 31 will be held at 10.00.

On the same day, as part of the celebration of the XVII Data Protection Day Other events on data protection will be organised personal in connection with the use of new technologies.

• workshops with students of the Ełk branch University of Warmia and Mazury on "Personal data protection in the context of cyber threats",
• Workshop with seniors on data protection personal when using new technologies.

Both events will take place at the headquarters of the University's branch in Elk.

In turn, at the headquarters of the Ełk City Hall, UODO experts will provide consultations in the field of personal data protection and conduct training for representatives of local governments from the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

On January 31, at the headquarters of the Ełk City Hall, experts UODO will provide consultations in the field of personal data protection. Welcome all interested in consultations with UODO employees, which will take place from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Representatives of UODO will answer questions when it uses to be the provisions on the protection of personal data, and when specific legal provisions regulating separately the use of personal data. They will tell you when there is a breach of personal data, explain how to assert your rights in in the event of a breach of the right to the protection of personal data and the right to privacy and help in formal matters, e.g. explain how to submit a complaint to the President UODO.
