Celebration of public holidays on 2 and 3 May

On Tuesday, May 2, we celebrate the Flag of the Republic of Poland Day A day later, the Constitution Day of May 3. Also in 2004, the Sejm established the Day of the Flag of the Republic of Poland, which was celebrated It's May 2nd. On this day, Poles display national colors, hang the flag on the their homes to express respect for state symbols. We encourage Elchan to hang state flags, but also city flags in their homes and Apartments.

May 2 (Tuesday) Flag Day Republic of Poland

Model of previous years, the president of Ełk, on this day will hand over flags in the colors of the residents national and municipal. Flag Day celebrations will take place at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 on the square in front of the City Hall in Ełk. Program:

10:00 a.m. – raising the national flag on the mast, playing the anthem of Polish,

10:05 a.m. – welcome by the President Ełk by Tomasz Andrukiewicz and passing flags in national and city colors by the President of Ełk,

10:15 a.m. – artistic performances of choirs: "Fantazja" and "Nolinki" from Primary School No. 4 and the choir "Pearls" from Miejskie Kindergartens Pearl.

3 May (Wednesday) Constitution Day May 3

3 May to commemorate the reception in 1791 of the first in Europe and the second in the world of the Constitution, we celebrate the 232nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of 3 May, which regulated the organisation of state authorities and rights and obligations Citizens. about   17:30 performance of "The Diplomates" by the NATO military band from Bemów Piski,

about   18:00 concert "Classics of Polish Song" – Agata Ławrukajtis (vocal), Tymoteusz Ławrukajtis (piano), Jakub Szulc (violin).

Provided handicraft stands, children's area, animations, games, art corner and competitions with prizes.

6:45 p.m. – XV Ełk Music Concerts Organ and Chamber Music - Concert of Małgorzata Trojanowska (soprano) and Sylwester Trojanowskiego (organ) - Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,

Hours. 19:00 – 21:00 – dance with a DJ – "Polish Hits" - boulevards on the Ełk River.
