Another company chose Ełk as the place for the development of its Activities. This time it is an entrepreneur operating in the cosmetics industry and beauty. Since May 1, KOLGENI has been renting laboratory rooms and office in the Science and Technology Park in Ełk.

The new tenant has developed a project under which conducts research aimed at creating a new, innovative, unique technology of obtaining natural collagen from fish waste.

The way developed in the KOLGENI project to obtaining more collagen with unique chemical properties and physical will be widely used in industry, m.in cosmetics, food, biotechnology, leather, pharmaceutical and medical.

KOLGENI received a grant of PLN 651,800 through an open call run by the Platinum Alfa Fund for the purpose of implementing the project research and development with commercial potential.

Currently in the Science and Technology Park areas It rents 13 companies.
