Meeting author's work with Jakub Zając and promotion of the book "Anna and the Lord B." will take place on Friday, May 26 at 18:00 at the MBP in Ełk.

Jacob Zając - born in 1983 in Łańcut, graduate of the Faculty Polish studies of the Jagiellonian University. During his studies Polish and literary studies published articles on Polish literature of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, focusing on the issues of war and memory in cooperation with the University press Jagiellonian.

Literary Jakub Zając's debut is "HALT. Notes from the House of Sobriety" (2020), which in March 2022 lived to see the second edition. In January 2023 published by Wielka Litera publishing house his second novel "Anna and Mr. B." (Warsaw 2023).

- What did I want to say with the story of "Anna and Mr. B."? That often We look for meaning without knowing that it is right next door and that We don't need to go anywhere and we don't have to change anything – says writer Jakub Zając.
