Revitalization Committee – What is it?

Members of the Committee They will advise the municipal authorities on all matters related to the revitalization process center of Ełk (e.g. by giving opinions on resolutions of the City Council and ordinances of the President City, assessing the implementation of the Municipal Revitalization Program of the City of Ełk 2030), take care of the interests of residents and other social groups or create initiatives for this part of the city. Revitalization committees are already operating in many cities in Poland, actively supporting their development.

Participation in The Committee shall have a social character and may be a member of the of legal age. The City of Ełk will provide organizational and financial support the activities of the Committee.

As part of the open We are looking for the following people:

- 2 residents of the Ełk revitalization area,

- 1 a resident of Ełk from outside the revitalization area,

- 1 a person who is a representative of owners and perpetual usufructuaries real estate located in the revitalization area of Ełk,

- 2 representatives of entities managing real estate located on the the area of revitalization of Ełk, including cooperatives and housing communities,

- 2 persons conducting or intending to conduct business activity in Ełk, with of which at least 1 person conducting business activity in the area revitalization of Ełk,

-no fewer than 2 and not more than 3 representatives of operators, or intending to conduct social activities in Ełk, including organizations non-governmental and informal groups, including:

• minimum 1 representative of an environmental body;
• minimum 1 representative of those responsible for promoting inclusion social, fundamental rights, rights of persons with disabilities, gender equality and Anti discrimination;

- 1 a representative of socio-economic partners, including organisations employers and employees, chambers of commerce, business environment institutions, research organizations, social economy entities.

In the form The applicant must demonstrate experience in activities for any of the above-mentioned groups, in activities for the benefit of the local community or revitalization of Ełk. In the absence of such experience, it is enough to acquire signatures of support for the candidacy.

Recruitment lasts until 16 June 2023 The application form must be submitted in person or by post to Ełk City Hall, Department of Strategy and Development, Marszałka Józefa Street Piłsudskiego 4, 19-300 Ełk (with a note on the envelope "Recruitment to the Committee Revitalization").
