In On June 14, 2023, the City of Ełk signed a contract with the contractor consisting in designing, executing, commissioning and carrying out procedures for including PV installations with a capacity of max. 50 kWp used for electricity supply to the building of the Science and Technology Park.

Panels will be mounted on a supporting structure, free-standing on the ground at buildings of the Science and Technology Park. With The analysis shows that all the energy produced from the panels The Park will use photovoltaic for its needs on an ongoing basis without additional storage costs. Reducing energy consumption will bring savings reaching about 11%.

Works will be made on the territory of the active PNT.

Planned Deadline for completion of works: by 2 September 2023.
