A park of young Elks is established

In Last Saturday, 7 October, the final of the "One A child – one tree". 100 fifteen-year-old were planted Trees. Every tree has its own name - the name of the child who eats it planted. Name plates were hung on the trees, and children and Parents received certificates.

Oaks lime trees, chestnuts, hornbeams and maples were planted on John Paul Square II on Saturday, October 7. One hundred fifteen-year-old trees were planted as part of the "One Child - One Tree" ecological campaign. Already After a few days of its duration, the desire to commemorate the birth of a child by planting a tree, more than 100 residents applied, exhausting the share limit.

Tree and the plaques were handed over by the President of Ełk, Tomasz Andrukiewicz.

Organic the initiative "One Tree – One Child" addressed to parents of children born from 1 January 2019 onwards met with appreciation from the Elks. The action consists of planting in urban space trees with a personalized plate commemorating the birth of a child.
