Grant from the budget of the city of Ełk may be granted to sports clubs sports activities in the city of Ełk, not operating in order to achieve which participate in organised sporting competitions in the context of the team and individual disciplines.

Condition application by sports clubs for a grant for the implementation of the task is:

1) Association in a sports club of players practicing a specific sport discipline and holding a player license issued by an authorized Polish association application form or other document entitling you to participate in the sports competitions,

2) Achieving significant results in national or international competitions confirmed by relevant documents.

Implementation projects covers the period from the date of signing the agreement to 31.12.2024.

On The implementation of tasks in the field of sport development is planned in 2024 in the budget city of Ełk: PLN 150,000 

The grant may be used in particular for:

1) implementation of sports training programs for players and staff Training;
2) purchase of sports equipment;
(3) covering the costs of organising or participating in sporting competitions Competitions;
4) covering the costs of using sports facilities for training purposes Sports;
5) financing of sports scholarships awarded by the club on the basis of approved by the Mayor of the City of Ełk.

The grant may not be used to finance:

about   payment of salaries to players or sports club officials;

about   transfers of a player from another sports club;

about   payment of fines, fines and other penalty charges imposed on the a sports club or a player of that club;

about   liabilities of the sports club under the loan, credit or redemption of securities and debt servicing costs;

about   costs incurred by the applicant for the implementation of the project before concluding the grant agreement.

Amount co-financing from the budget of the city of Ełk may constitute no more than 90% of the the total planned costs of the proposed project.

Request together with the required annexes shall be submitted by the deadline by the 15 December 2023 inclusive (the date of the postmark is decisive), annotation: 'Application for a grant to support a project in the field of development of sport in Ełk" and the name of the entity submitting the application, in the Piłsudskiego 4, room 02 or send a copy of the by post to the following address: Ełk City Hall, 4 Piłsudskiego Street, 19-300 Ełk with a note on the envelope as above.

Applications submitted after the above-mentioned deadline will not be considered.
