Nativity play, caroling together and sharing the wafer

Yesterday On the 20th of December, the Municipal Meeting was held in the Ełk Cultural Centre Wafers. The event began with a nativity play performed by preschoolers from the Sunny Eight Championship. The meeting was a good an opportunity for pre-Christmas reflection and to share wafer and wish each other well.
In On December 20, the Municipal Meeting was held at the Ełk Cultural Centre Wafer cake, the tradition of which dates back many years. Initiators events a dozen or so years ago were the President of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz and Bishop of Ełk Jerzy Mazur.
Amid The participants were, m.in, representatives of the local government, clergy, entrepreneurs, representatives of municipal institutions, judiciary, uniformed services, health care, NGOs and trade unions.
Arriving guests, with Christmas songs, were greeted by the choir "Fantasia" from Primary School No. 4 under the direction of Mr. Tomasz Sulima.
On the artistic part was invited by the Municipal Kindergarten Słoneczna Eight. Children with their parents and invited guests presented a touching nativity play entitled "He is the King".
After of the artistic part, they all met in the Zebra hall at the Christmas carols performed by the Kontrapunkt choir.
Scouts brought the Light of Bethlehem and handed it over to the Bishop Jerzy Mazur.
President and the Bishop wished everyone a happy Christmas. In part, The official guests shared the wafer, made wishes and sang Christmas carols together.
