Yesterday (15 February) in the town hall there was a presentation of this year's scholarships Artistic.

President This year, Ełk decided to award 8 artistic scholarships, which Earlier, the jury appointed for this purpose had been evaluated. Fellows represent the following fields: music, singing, visual arts, photography, organization cultural events in the city of Ełk.

Grantees In 2024:

1. Tatiana Karpienko (category: vocals) - a talented vocalist who has been perfecting her vocal skills for years, training in voice emission, song interpretation and improvisation,

2.Jakub  Śliwiński (category: organization cultural undertakings in the city of Ełk), a student of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, music producer, sound-designer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and active musician,

3. Martyna Więcko (category: vocals) talented vocalist, for many years working on voice emission and interpretation of lyrics in Song

4. Maciej Przyłucki (category: photography, music) student of the University of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in the field of sound engineering, several years experience in music production, rap and melodrama,

5.Edyta  Mańczuk (category: arts Fine Arts) - painter, graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Nicolaus Copernicus,

6.Jakub  Karpuk (category: music) – award-winning dulcimer player, musician and dulcimer teacher, fascinated by Polish culture,

7.Agata  Laskowska (category: music) – a graduate of bachelor's and master's studies at the University of Music in Bialystok and postgraduate studies at the Academy of Music Music School in Bydgoszcz,

8.Jacek  Brzoznowski (category: organization of cultural events in the city of Ełk) - graduate Academy of Music in the field of symphonic and opera conducting, winner of the awards in numerous national and international music competitions.

Scholarship is intended for particularly talented people who represent high artistic level, residing or working in the area of our cities. It is an expression of appreciation for the candidate's achievements, it is also a form of support for the further artistic development of artists, creators of culture and art.

In the years 2013-2024, 126 scholarships were awarded for the amount of PLN 514 thousand.
