Ełk is a city active people. Once again, the residents of our city expressed their involvement by joining the EBO initiative – the Ełk Budget Civil. Despite the fact that the participatory budget was launched in Ełk for the first time first, the figures clearly show that this initiative has been met with a large interest of the Elks. A total of 6349 votes were cast.

And here it is The winning projects that received the highest number of votes. Project budgets amount to PLN 1,000,000 and have been selected by the inhabitants of Ełk to be implemented.

By the vote 6349 votes were cast (66% of voters were women and 34% were men), including 3048 for investment projects and 3301 for non-investment projects.

People Minors cast 291 votes.

What's Next for Us Waiting?

-Typing selected projects for the budget of the city of Ełk: session of the Ełk City Council until 31 March 2024,

-implementation EBO 2023-2024 (tenders, contracts, investments, activities): IV-XII '2024

Back in May this year, it is planned to launch another Ełk Budget Civic Conference, 2025 edition.
