President Ełk signed a contract with the contractor for the reconstruction of prelate priest M. Szczęsny Street. It is an internal road connecting the Municipal Hospital "Pro-Medica" in Ełk Sp. z o.o. with important public facilities, such as: Single Mother's Home and Home Misericordia Social Welfare run by Caritas of the Ełk Diocese. The investment will improve communication between the facilities as well as facilitate access residents facing health and social problems to public service providers.

As part of the reconstruction of Szczęsnego Street with a length of about 205 m, new surfaces are to be made bituminous roadway, pavements and entrances made of paving stones.

As part of the Drainage of the pavement along with the construction of the system will be carried out pre-treatment of rainwater on the existing rainwater collector, construction of sanitary sewer section, reconstruction of the central heating connection, construction of street lighting in LED technology and construction of sewage systems telecommunication technology.

On Vertical and horizontal markings will be made in the constructed facility.

Value subject of the agreement: PLN 1,724,459.05, of which 97%, i.e. PLN 1,682,382.25 is co-financing from the Programme Government Fund Polish Ład: Strategic Investment Program entitled: "Reconstruction prelate priest Marian Szczęsny street in Ełk along with the construction of infrastructure technical assistance'.
