Welcome initiatives addressing in the following lines of action, resulting from the public consultation carried out within the framework of the project "the new Downtown Of Elk-formula for revitalization":

·         increasing social activity-to encourage residents to activities for the environment in which they live; integrating local communities;

·         actions directed to seniors and children and youth-development activities, leisure, sports, culture and education, prevention and health care services and other activities to increase activity and integration of these social groups;

·         improving knowledge and awareness on management of urban space and take care of it
(for example, the use of public space under the Community initiative, protection against misuse, pollution and dewastowaniem, the sustainable use of urban greenery, community involvement in the planning of urban investment, improving aesthetics);

·         increasing environmental awareness (green transportation, air quality, clean water and other issues, leading to the improvement of the environment in the center of the city);

·         corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities aimed at establishing and improving the business relationship with the local community and local authorities (participation in the life of the local community, supporting local institutions and persons, cooperation with local organisations, participation in social campaigns, etc.); increase public awareness of consumers, increase the trust and loyalty of consumers; raising the standards of conduct and the company's image to stakeholders (employees, contractors, customers) etc.;

·         support homeless people.

Put your project in the revitalization can make it easier for applicants to apply for funding from the EU funds for example. from the regional operational programme of Warmia and Mazury for years 2014-2020.

Call for project proposals to "revitalize the Elk" will last until September 15, 2017.
