11 June in the Elk was held the second meeting of the project team dedicated to the implementation of joint cross-border project from Interreg V-and Lithuania-Poland "Now time for a change"
In the meeting participated of the person involved in the implementation of the two projects "Now time for a change" and "the development of cross-border social initiatives".
During the meeting it was determined the date of the next meetings of the partners. Planned date of subsequent events planned for implementation, and discusses the scope of work streetworkerów.
From June 1 to December double teams will organize free time, develop interest and support in the development of children and adolescents from 4 ełckich courtyards:
-land. Polish Army 14, 16, 18,
-land. Gdansk 30-38 and ul. Gizewiusza 1,
-land. Gizewiusza 4-8,
-land. UL. Polish Army 7-9.
Streetworkerzy, who show young people how you can spend your free time, how to deal with the problems of how to avoid finding yourself on the social margins, people whose profession is also a vocation.
The project will end the Conference, which will be presented a video documenting the work of ełckich streetworkerów.
"Now it's time for a change" is implemented within the framework of the 9 promoting social inclusion, fight poverty and any discrimination (by promoting gender equality, equal opportunities and the integration of communities across borders).
The programme is co-financed by the European regional development fund.
