ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:

21 paintings and 8 totems created by Wanda Sadowska make up an extraordinary cycle, a kind of journey
through the different dimensions of time, space and mind. In her work, Wanda Sadowska enters into a dialogue with the place, time and recipient. This dialogue is an invitation to the world created by the painter, but also to her own search for the meanings, meanings and symbols present in it – more or less hidden.

Exhibition under the honorary patronage of the President of the City of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz.

The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. to 6 March 2022 inclusive.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Wanda Sadowska – painter, decorator, doctor of humanities, graduate of the University of Warsaw. Since 2016, ełczanka by choice.

1976–1989 – researcher and teacher at the Faculty of Humanities of the Branch of the University of Warsaw in Białystok
1990 – departure to the United States
1990–2016 – resident of the state of Florida, owner of the art studio "Wanda's Creations", where she carried out her own decorating projects (murals, frescoes, easel painting), as well as in cooperation with other artists and studios
1992 – International Correspondence Schools, Master Art Course, Pennsylvania
2006 – completion of Artisan Applicator Certification, Plaster and Decorative Fine Finishes
