30 years The State Fire Service falls this year, which is why today (18 May) in Ełk held a solemn celebration of the jubilee combined with the Fireman's Day. After submitting the report, hoisting the state flag on the mast at the Polish hymn played, one from the guards he took a solemn oath to the banner of the command.

Then Undersecretary of State in the Ministry Internal Affairs and Administration Błażej Poboży presented the following awards:

• 2 officers received bronze badges of "Meritorious for Protection" fire protection',
• 16 officers received higher service ranks;
• one officer received the Diploma of commander-in-chief;
• 7 officers received a distinction in the form of a financial award Provincial Commander.
• resolutions of the Presidium of the Management Board of the Provincial Branch of the Association Volunteer Fire Brigades of the Republic of Poland were also awarded medals for merits for firefighting: four gold and four silver medals.

There was also a handover of the car to TSO units in Rożyńsk Wielki.

The ceremony was attended by m.in. Undersecretary state in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration Błażej Poboży, deputy at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Kossakowski, Voivode of Warmia and Mazury Artur Chojecki, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship Provincial Commander psp nadbryg. Tomasz Komoszyński, District Commander Of the State Fire Service in Ełk, Brig. Marek Markowski, Mayor of the City Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz together with deputy Mirosław Hołubowicz, as well as representatives local authorities and invited guests.

On the occasion of the jubilee, we wish the officers of the Guard Fire achieving further successes in service, health, happiness in life personal, family and dream come true. Thank you for your heroism and humanitarian actions taken at the risk of one's own life.
