The Ranking of Municipalities is a long-term initiative implemented by the regional centres of the Jerzy Regulski Foundation for the Development of Local Democracy in cooperation with regional Statistical Offices.

Podlaski Resort is the organizer of the m.in "Ranking of Municipalities of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship" at cooperation with the Statistical Office in Olsztyn.

The project has on the objective of selecting and promoting outstanding municipalities socio-economic and the application of best practices.

As part of the Ranking All communes of the voivodship are evaluated, except for cities with rights County. The results are collected and compiled by the Statistical Office. Share In the ranking for municipalities is free.

A place in the ranking is a result several synthetic indicators illustrating various spheres of community life local in our region. These indicators are diverse and have in their the intention is to show the quality of life in different parts of the region.

The ranking has been prepared based on data for 2021, and its leaders are those municipalities that efficiently implement their own tasks and use the development potentials given to them. Rewarded are in the following categories: Voivodship Leader, Urban Communes, Rural Communes and urban-rural communes.
