The promenade at Ełk Lake is one of the most attractive places in Ełk willingly visited by residents, tourists and guests staying in our city.

Last year, in response to the expectations of the Elks The municipal government created the opportunity to present cultural activities, talents, passions, handicrafts on areas by the promenade in the summer.

The aim is to making the promenade more attractive and creating an additional space for meetings, e.g. musicians, painters, sculptors and other artists and cultural creators who They will be able to present the effects of their activities there.

To this end, a procedure has been developed free of charge lending of areas located at the Ełk promenade.

Important assumption: the presentation of the activity can not be associated with achieving a financial benefit here (you can not run sale on the shared area of the promenade).

This year, the initiative will continue and will be addressed not only to artists from Ełk, but also from outside our city.

Any artist or association interested the possibility of presentation on the promenade, submitting a simple application to the Office The City of Ełk may obtain permission to make the promenade available free of charge during the period from 1 May to 30 September.

The application shall indicate:

• Applicant's data

• location proposal and size of the needed Surface

• the period / date in which it will be conducted artistic presentation

• description of the form and method of presentation of talents Artistic.

Locations - What area do we provide?

Four primary locations are provided:

1. promenade area near Wojska Polskiego Street (near the former WSFiZ),

2. at Pulaskiego Street (near the playground and basketball courts),

3. at Pulaskiego Street (on the south side pumping station)

4. at Nadjeziorna Street (on the south side playground).

It is also possible to share others Location. Each application will be analyzed individually. The priority will be safety of promenade users, not disturbing its normal functioning, not restricting the movement of pedestrians or cyclists.

Remark! Office The city may refuse or revoke the consent granted in the event of organisation of urban events/events in the areas concerned, or from other important reasons, e.g. breaking the law, order or organizational premises or resulting from safety rules.
