Elchans celebrate Flag Day

Today, 2 May, we celebrate the Flag Day of the Republic of Poland Polish. In front of the city hall, the president of Ełk handed over flags to the residents in national and city colours. Let's hang in our homes and apartments white and red flag to expose attachment to national colors.
In 2004, the Sejm established Day of the Flag of the Republic of Poland, which is celebrated on May 2. Before At 10.00 a.m., the City Hall held an official celebration, during which The flag of Polish was raised to the mast and the national anthem was played.
As every year, the president of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz handed over flags in national colors to the residents and Urban. Residents of Ełk participate in numerous celebrations before Ełk town hall, joining in the active display of national colors and urban in the city.
