Changes in the organization of traffic on All Saints' Day – access to cemeteries, public transport

In connection with All Saints' Day (1 November), the there will be changes in the organization of traffic in the vicinity of cemeteries and changes in Ełk public transport buses. It will be launched special communication line number 111, running between cemeteries no. 1 and 2 (approx. every 30 minutes). On that day, public transport will be free of charge, and the area car exchange will be made available as a parking lot.

Ełk public transport Urban:

-all public transport lines will be redirected from Kilińskiego Street to Kochanowskiego Street,

-Created a special communication line will be built between Cemetery No. 1 and 2, thanks to why it will be possible to get to the above-mentioned cemeteries every half an hour during the hours of from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with a break in operation between 1.00 p.m., and 2.00 p.m. These buses will be marked with the number 111 "SPECIAL LINE – CEMETERIES",

-all public transport in the City of Ełk and the Municipality of Ełk will be free of charge.

Traffic organization:

1 November from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., introduced There will be temporary changes in the organization of traffic in the vicinity of cemeteries. Temporary the changes concern the following streets: Targowa, Kochanowskiego, Cmentarna, Norwida, Towarowa and Matejko:

hive. Targowa and Kochanowskiego Streets:

-        Preserved two-way traffic will be introduced,

-        on exits from the market, "Kaufland", the "ATU" department store and the building at ul. Targowa 10 will be introduced to drive to the right.

hive. Graveyard:

-        Is closed to vehicle traffic along its entire length (from Kochanowskiego Street to the railway tracks railway undertakings).

-        with due to works on the reconstruction of the E75 railway line, the crossing was removed railway station at Cmentarna Street without pedestrian crossing.

hive. Norwid:

-        Is A section closed to vehicle traffic in the vicinity of cemetery no. 1 (from Matejki Street to Cmentarna Street).

hive. Towarowa:

-        in area of cemetery no. 2 along the entire length of Towarowa Street (from the railway crossing narrow-gauge road to the intersection of Okrężna – Strefowa streets) on both sides of the roadway There will be a ban on stopping on the road.

hive. Matejko:

-        after side of the cemetery will be set up signs B-36 (no stopping) with "Applies to the roadway" signs. On the opposite side, along the entire length will be B-36 (no stopping) signs set.

1 November in the area of the city market (in the area of the car exchange) A parking lot will be created.

An appeal for preservation caution by road users

In due to the increased traffic in the vicinity of cemeteries, which we encounter 1 November and the rapidly falling dusk at this time, we urge you to keep caution by all road users.

Reminder that it is worth having reflective elements that increase our visibility on the directly increasing the level of safety.

In in connection with the planned change in the traffic organization on that day, attention should be paid to the labelling.
