Make requests or share your thoughts on the 100 anniversary of independence

This year we are celebrating the 100. anniversary of the independence of our country. Events from the year 1918, for us, the Poles are associated with many emotions, including memories of his grandparents transmitted from generation to generation. In this unique time we encourage residents of Elk to share their thoughts related to the newly independent Poland. You can also make "wishes for independence".

November 11, 1918, after 123 years of partitions, Poland regained its independence. During the first two years of this event was a feast. First celebration of independence were held on November 14, 1920. The Józef Piłsudski by adopting the Marshal's baton was honored as the winning Chief during the Polish-Soviet war.

These events, we are from 100 years. These are the historical facts, well known to us Poles. However, the story is also the memories of relatives or neighbors that are still alive in our memory as a "story" passed down from generation to generation.

Therefore, from now on we invite all ełczan to make a "wish for an independent" or share with us your feelings and thoughts related to 100 anniversary of Poland's independence.

You can do this by:

• statement to the tv show "City News"

• in writing to the following address: Office for the promotion of sport and culture, the Office of the city of Ełk, ul. The March. J. Piłsudskiego 4, 19-300 Elk.

Wishes and thoughts residents Elk related to 100. anniversary of our country's independence will be collected, and the most interesting of them (or their selected fragments) published in the bulletin issued by the city of Elk.

Bulletin can be obtained free of charge during the main celebrations of the independence day in November 2018.
