On Friday (February 16). 18:00 in the municipal library held a meeting with ełczaninem Martin Florczykiem, author of the book "Zdechlandia".

I was born and grew up in Elk. For over ten years living abroad, and the survival of this period birthed the idea to write short stories about life in exile.

"Zdechlandia"
The literary debut of the author, whose official premiere took place at the international book fair in Cracow, where she met with great interest. Efforts currently underway to translate the book to Icelandic, and the author himself is working on another novel, which perhaps will be released later this year.

The idea to write this book spawned as a result of the thoughts and observations of life in exile. Shows the other face of life and the vicissitudes of our compatriots in exile, than those that we have known so far with przekoloryzowanych stories and urban legends, and that function among the compatriots in the country.

Often people don't realize what really lies behind the apparent success of the renunciation and the costs shall be borne by the people forced to go abroad.
