Grants from the city budget are granted to objects entered in the register monuments or municipal records of monuments in poor technical condition, important historical, artistic or tourist alco-friendly importance for Elk - recreational activities. The grant may be applied for by entities that hold the title of in the register of monuments and are not included in the public finances.

President Elk after familiarised with the recommendation of the evaluation committee for the proposals submitted, decision to fund the renovation of 3 further projects. Grants approved The City Council of Elk, adopting the relevant resolution at the last session. Cost of all grants granted is EUR 150 000. $1.00.

Grants awarded in 2020:

1. Residential Community at 30 National Army Street in Elk

Renovation of the façade (insulation, plastering, painting, repair of gutters and drain pipes, plinth restoration, window lopers, window joinery and door)

2. The Housing Community at Slovak Street 23 in Elk

Roof repair (replacement of patchs and tiles, protection of the wooden impregnate construction), installation of chimney benches, replacement of roof lift, replacement of gutters and drain pipes, obstruction of chimney ducts, renovation window joinery and stairwell doors, renovation of balcony barriers, insulation of peak walls, replacement of stairwell windows, renovation of cornices and external plasters, replacement of sheet metal processing, making flaps for cellar wells

3. The Housing Community Orzeszkowa Street 14 in Elk

Renovation of the front façade from the street (cleaning, impregnation, replenishment of cavities), renovation of the façade of the peak walls and from the yard (insulation), repair of the tunnel gate (strobe insulation, wall surface and mosaic plaster)

The maximum level of funding for projects from the city budget is up to 50% necessary for the execution of the work.
