For the first time fifteenth were awarded the White Lily Awards for outstanding contribution to the development and promotion of the city of Ełk. The idea of the competition is to distinguish people who in a way special with their daily work, activity and commitment serve the city and its inhabitants, contributing to the promotion of Ełk.

Awards are awarded to natural persons, legal entities and other entities for special achievements in the previous calendar year or for the total activity in one of eight categories: Patron of Sport, Athlete of the Year, Artistic Award, Patron of Culture, Ambassador of Ełk, Entrepreneur of the Year, Worthy Attitude Imitation, Special Award.

In this edition, 20 applications were received, which was considered by the chapter appointed by the President of Ełk, composed of:

1. Artur Urbański – Deputy Mayor of the City of Ełk,

2. Włodzimierz Szelążek – Chairman of the Ełk City Council - Chairman of the Chapter,

3. Higher Education Economy Branch in Ełk – winner of the White Lily Award 2015 in the Patron category Culture – representative Agnieszka Danielewicz,

4. UKS MOS in Ełk – laureate White Lily Awards 2018 in the Elk Ambassador category – sebastian representative Kosiorek ,

5. Stanisław Rudnik - laureate White Lily Awards 2007 in the Category of Artistic Award,

6. Oliwia Gajewczyk – laureate White Lily Awards 2019 in the Athlete of the Year category,

7. Klemens Rydzewski - laureate White Lily Awards 2008 in the Special Award category,

8. Maciej Olszewski - laureate White Lilli Awards 2019 in the category of Attitude Worthy of Imitation,

9. Romuald Szuliński – laureate White Lily Awards 2012 in the category of Patron of Sport.

This year the Chapter recommended awarding 7 awards and 10 distinctions. Gala took place on October 6, 2021 at the Ełk Cultural Center. The winners were honored Mayor of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz and Chairman of the Ełk City Council Włodzimierz Szelążek.
