During the last two weeks of many good people, associations and organizations immediately mobilized to help and coordinate aid activities Humanitarian. Support comes not only from Polish, but also from many countries of Europe and the world.

On 10 March 2022 The Mayor of ełk met with Mr. and Mrs. Angelika and Michael Peiniger, from the German city of Ennepetal, who organized a collection for Ukrainian refugees. The initiator of this collection was Mr. Radosław Dorszewski – long-time fussball player Tus Ennepetal – a football team – and currently President of MKS Mazur Ełk, who asked for help in organizing this Collection. As we read on the club's website, "The spontaneous collection of TuS for refugees from Ukraine has ended with a full Success! More than 170 Europallets of aid were collected in a few days humanitarian, most of which have already been sent to the Polish".

Commitment and establishment cooperation with the German city of Ennpetal and the Fussball Tus Ennepetal sports club resulted in great support, which will go to Ukrainian citizens seeking refuge in Elk.

President Tomasz Andrukiewicz also thanked KOMA Ełk and the "Responsible" Foundation For Dreams", mops employees in Ełk, volunteers from the "Amazons" association, "Seniors to Seniors" and students of the Uniformed Education Center in Ełk for their help in unloading and storing products that will ultimately go to Ukrainian families.
