Municipal Social Welfare Center – scope of activities for citizens of Ukraine

Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Ełk (ul. Piłsudskiego 8) as part of the activities carried out for the inhabitants of Ukraine will be dealt with the acceptance of applications and payment of a one-off benefit of PLN 300 per person in the family and the granting of cash and non-cash benefits. In if necessary, it will also supervise temporary caregivers underage children from Ukraine and family assistants.

In the scope of activities of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre (MOPS) within the meaning of the Act on assistance to citizens of Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict on its territory countries include:

  • Granting and payment of assistance to Ukrainian citizens in the form of a one-off cash benefit in the amount of PLN 300 per person. Is it is intended for maintenance, in particular to cover expenditure on food, clothing, footwear, personal hygiene products and housing charges;
  • Granting cash and non-cash benefits citizens of Ukraine residing on the territory of the Republic of Poland, whose residence is considered legal. Benefits will be granted on rules and in accordance with the Act of 12 March 2004 on assistance social and special law.
  • Supervision implementation of the rights and obligations of a temporary guardian for a minor citizen Ukraine, who stays on the territory of the Republic of Poland without the care of persons adults;
  • Granting family assistant, if citizens Ukraine will demand it.
