The White Lily Awards have been awarded annually since 2007. The idea of the award is to distinguish people who in a special way with their daily work, activity and commitment serve the city and its inhabitants and contribute to promote Elk.

Prizes are awarded to natural persons, legal entities and other entities for specific achievements in the previous calendar year or for the whole activities in 8 categories:

1. Patron of Sport,

2. Athlete of the Year,

3. Artistic Award,

4. Patron of Culture,

5. Ambassador of Elk,

6. Entrepreneur of the Year,

7. An attitude worthy of imitation,

8. Special Prize.

The prize is awarded at the request of:

·  President of the City of Ełk,

·  Chairman of the Ełk City Council or a group of 5 Councillors,

·  other bodies of government and local government administration,

·  non-governmental, social, economic and professional organizations, unions,

·  local, regional and nationwide media,

·  a group of 25 adult natural persons, permanently residing in the area the city of Ełk.

Applications can be sent by post or submitted to the General Chancellery of the City Hall Elk.

The call for proposals has been extended until 22 April 2022.
