Gifts from the Italian Orbassano reached Ełk

Residents of the twin city of Orbassano in Italy in
as part of their assistance to Ukrainian refugees living in Ełk, they donated m.in.
clothes, mattresses and hygiene products and cosmetics. The truck with the gifts arrived
this morning (11 April) to Ełk. The items were handed over to the Ełk Centre
Social Revitalization "Stable".
In connection with the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine, and information that Ełk has become involved in helping its eastern neighbours, Mayor of Orbassano Cinzia Maria Bosso contacted the President of Elk Tomasz Andrukiewicz and offered support. Residents of Italian, partner the cities got involved in the collection of donations, which today reached Ełk Center for Social Revitalization "Stable". The truck arrived around 8.00 morning. Among the things were m.in clothing and footwear, mattresses, chemistry, cosmetics, hygiene products.
