Everyone who brought with them today to the Education Center Ecological small e-waste, received a tree seedling. In the distribution of trees Deputy Mayor of Ełk Mirosław Hołubowicz got involved. Action "You give away the garbage - you get the tree" took place as part of the celebrations Ełk Earth Days. In this year's edition, 500 seedlings were prepared, in this m.in oaks, birches, spruces or lindens. Many residents came to the exchange cities, including the youngest Elchians.

Events which will take place as part of the Ełk Earth Days:

• Spring Cleaning of the World (April 23) – joint cleaning organized by the Volunteer Support Center Foundation, area along Grajewska Street;
• Run for the Earth (23 April) – start at CEE; participants will receive seedlings of conifers.
• Exchange of books, games and puzzles (April 23)
• Cleaning the bottom of The Elk Lake (April 23)
• Bike Rally (24 April)'
