Medals for long-term married life are awarded by President of the Republic of Poland. The award is given to couples with at least 50 – years of marital experience. On behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, he presented the medals to the spouses President of Ełk Tomasz Andrukiewicz accompanied by the Head of the State Office Civilian Urszula Ejsmont. The medal ceremony took place on May 10, 2022 r. in the Ełk City Hall.

Medals were granted to 6 married couples, including:

• 1 pair with 61 years old Experience
• 1 pair with 51 years of experience,
• 2 pairs with 50 years of experience.
• 2 couples with 52 years old Experience.
