Scholarship sports is a form of material support for players, enabling the development of a sports career. It is awarded in recognition of presented by the athletes of the sports level and achievements in a given discipline in the national and international arena. Scholarship can be received also a coach for commitment or too high scores of players.

Sports scholarships are awarded 2 times a year calendar or at the request of the President of Ełk. Other forms of support are awards and distinctions.

The award is a recognition of:

• for the player for the level presented by him and high sports results
• for trainers for their commitment or too high the results of their players for high sports results or activities for the benefit of development of physical culture in Ełk.

Highlight are awarded in the form of: statuettes, cups, diplomas and congratulatory letters in the category: "player", "coach" and "sports team", for outstanding achievements sports or long-term activity for the development of physical culture.

Applications for awards and distinctions can be submitted by all year round.

To apply for scholarships, awards and distinctions are entitled to sports clubs, sports associations, schools, universities and others.
