This weekend marks the 25th anniversary of its existence Ełk choir "Kontrapunkt". On this occasion on Sunday (June 19) will be held a concert under the baton of Rafał Sulima, already well known to the Elczans – choir conductor.

The concert will begin with "Toccata Ełcka" for organ performed by Rafal Sulima. The piece was composed for the inauguration of the restored organ in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Ełk.

Then the "Elk Mass" will be played, the songs of which have been specially composed for this occasion by Piotr Grinholc.

The choristers will be accompanied by an orchestra of 30 Instrumentalists. Solo parts will be performed by soprano Małgorzata Trojanowska.
